Division Championships
Seven division champions will be crowned, one of which must be a

top seven in the power rankings, then the top six will be crowned, along with
the highest ranked small school in the division. The crowning of the small
school has no bearing on tournament qualification, and the small school may not
necessarily qualify for playoffs. (Updated 11/07)

The top 12 schools which finish highest in the final power rankings will
qualify for post season play in the Section XI tournament. There is no NYSPHSAA championship. (Updated
